Born and raised in Little Rock, AR, Kylar grew up with a unique co-parenting experience that shaped her understanding of family, communication, and resilience.

Her journey to writing Two Homes, One Heart began with a simple idea from her father: to share her story and offer guidance for families navigating the challenges of co-parenting. Drawing from her own childhood, Kylar weaves her experiences into an empowering message for parents and children alike. She believes every child deserves to feel loved, supported, and understood—no matter the circumstances.

As a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a degree in Human Development and Family Science, Kylar’s passion for helping families extends beyond her book. Her mission is to create resources and conversations that foster healthier co-parenting dynamics and empower families to thrive.
